Material

Hard Cover:

128gsm/157gsm glossy art paper mounted on 2mm/2.5mm/3mm greyboard.
128gsm/157gsm matte art paper mounted on 2mm/2.5mm/3mm greyboard.
Fabric/PU leather mounted on 2mm/2.5mm/3mm greyboard.

Inner Pages:

Two sheets of 250gsm C1S art paper wrapped together.
Two sheets of 300gsm C1S art paper wrapped together.
Two sheets of 350gsm C1S art paper wrapped together.

Size Reference

Small Size: Approximately 6 x 6 inches (15 x 15 cm) – Ideal for very young children and small hands.
Medium Size: Around 8 x 8 inches (20 x 20 cm) – A common size for toddler books.
Large Size: About 10 x 10 inches (25 x 25 cm) or larger – Suitable for more detailed illustrations and stories.

Printing

Both CMYK and spot color printing options are offered on double sides.

Binding

Hardcover board book binding: the book is given a hard cover similar to that of a traditional hardcover book, providing enhanced durability and protection. The inner pages are constructed by mounting each page with two sheets of paper, resulting in thick, sturdy pages. These pages are then assembled and attached to the hard cover using a case binding method, where the pages are sewn or glued together and then glued into the hard cover, this binding method offers superior durability and a premium feel.

Treatments

Lamination: Adding a protective layer to make the pages more durable (Glossy, Matte, Soft touch).
Hot Stamped: Gold and silver color are popular.
Embossed/Debossed: Creating raised or recessed designs on the cover or pages.

Die-Cutting: Cutting out shapes or windows in the pages or cover.
Rounded Corners: it enhances safety and durability, making the books more suitable for young children who might handle them. Rounded corners help prevent injuries and wear and tear on the book.
